- Extra Details:
- Human T cell receptor (TCR) is a T cell surface expressed heterodimer of a/b or g/d chains. TCR's recognize antigen peptides bound to MHC molecules forming the basis of antigen specific response by T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5ug/ml Labels 5x10e5 cells. CH7C17 tumor cells (HA1.7 Vb3+ transfectant) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Quality Control: CH7C17 tumor cells (HA1.7 Vb3+ transfectant) were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of T2040-17A TCR Vb3 at 5ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with streptavidin/R-PE, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed using a BD FACstar plus. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.83 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a mouse IgG2a/biotin negative control at a similar concentration. Binding was 50% blocked when pre incubated 10 minutes with 20ul of 0.5mg/ml T2040-17 TCR Vb3 antibody. Storage and Stability: For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
