Extra Details:: Human T cell receptor (TCR) is a T cell surface-expressed heterodimer of a/b or g/d chains. TCR's recognize antigen peptides bound to MHC molecules forming the basis of antigen specific response by T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 5ug/ml. Cultured CH7C17 tumor cells (HA1.7 Vb3+ transfectant) were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of T2040-17 at 5ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with goat anti-mouse IgG/FITC, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed using a BD FACstar plus. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.20 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a mouse IgG2a negative control at a similar concentration. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
