- Extra Details:
- T cell receptor (TCR) is a heterodimer consisting of an a and a b chain (TCR a/b) or a g and a d chain (TCR g/d). TCR g/d belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, involved in the recognition of certain bacterial and tumor antigens bound to MHC class I. The TCR g/d associates with CD3 and is expressed on a T cell subset found in the thymus, the intestinal epithelium, and the peripheral lymphoid tissues and peritoneum. Most g/d T cells are CD4-/CD8-, some are CD8+. T cells expressing the TCR g/d have been shown to play a role in oral tolerance, tumor-associated tolerance, and autoimmune disease. It has been reported that g/d T cells also play a principal role in antigen presentation. Immobilized T2040-06L antibody has been reported to activate TCR-g/d bearing T cells in vitro, and to deplete peripheral TCR-g/d-bearing T cells in vivo. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤1ug/10e6 cells in 100ul volume Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
