Extra Details:: The synaptonemal complex is a proteinaceous complex that apparently mediates synapses during the zygotene stage and then disintegrates. It is a complex structure that unites homologous chromosomes during the prophase stage of meiosis. It is the result of chromosome pairing interactions and not the cause of them. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoflourescence, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunoflourescence (IC): 1:100-1:750 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:750 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
