- Extra Details:
- The semaphorins make up a family of inhibitory axon guidance molecules that include secreted, transmembrane, and GPI anchored extracellular molecules. Via their interaction with Plexin/Neuropilin receptor complexes, the semaphorins are involved in regulating axon guidance by inhibiting axons from growing toward incorrect targets. Semaphorin 3F belongs to the class 3 secreted group of molecules and shows ubiquitous expression in a range of neuronal and non-neuronal tissues including brain, mammary gland, liver, kidney, lung, spleen, muscle and heart. The role of the semaphorins in non-neuronal tissues is poorly characterised. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
