Extra Details:: One family of inhibitory axon guidance molecules is the semaphorins. The semaphorins include secreted, transmembrane, and GPI anchored extracellular molecules that are involved in regulating axon guidance by inhibiting axons from growing toward incorrect targets. SEMA 3B inhibits axonal extension by providing local signals to specify territories inaccessible for growing axons. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:40 Western Blot: 1:5000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:100. Prior to immunostaining paraffin tissues, antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) is recommended. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
