Extra Details:: Ryanodine receptors have been shown to play critical roles in the intracellular Ca2+ signaling occurring during cell activation in muscle cells and non muscle cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:1000 Western Blot: 1:5000. Detects a band of ~565kD representing RyR from rat skeletal muscle extracts. In non-mammalian vertebrates, a doublet is seen at 565kD representing the alpha and beta isoforms. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
