- Extra Details:
- Ryanodine receptors have been shown to play critical roles in the intracellular Ca2+ signaling occurring during cell activation in muscle cells and non muscle cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry and RIA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot (Enhanced Chemiluminescence Detection): 1:100. Perform a dot blot to verify presence of the RyR protein if having difficulties performing a Western Blot assay. Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 Immunocytochemistry (IF): 1:100 Visualization by confocal microscopy is required, as detection by standard fluorescent microscopy will not be adequate to detect the RyR. Due to the intensity of confocal lasers, use of an anti-fading agent, such as DABCO, is strongly recommended. Additionally, fluorescent, not enzymatic, detection is required. ELISA: 1:1000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:100 Flow Cytometry: 1:500 RIA: 1:5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
