- ROR2 is a type I receptor tyrosine kinase important in chondrocyte, cartilage, and growth plate formation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 1x10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Flow Cytometry Protocol: This antibody has been tested for flow cytometry using SH-SY5Y cells. 1. Cells may be Fc-blocked with 1ug of human IgG/10e5 cells for 15 minutes at RT. Do not wash excess blocking IgG from this reaction. 2. After blocking, 10ul of R2999-61F was added to up to 1x10e6 cells and incubated for 30 minutes at RT. 3. Unbound antibody was removed by washing the cells twice in Flow Cytometry Staining Buffer. Note that whole blood requires a RBC lysis step at this point using Flow Cytometry Human Lyse Buffer. 4. The cells were resuspended in Flow Cytometry Staining Buffer for final flow cytometric analysis. As a control for this analysis, cells in a separate tube should be treated with mouse IgG2a (PE) antibody. This procedure may need to be modified, depending upon the cell type and final utilization. Individual users may need to titrate to determine the optimal reagent amount for their specific use. Warning: Contains sodium azide as a preservative - sodium azide may react with lead and copper plumbing to form explosive metal azides. Flush with large volumes of water during disposal. Absorption: 488nm Emission: 565-605nm Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
