Extra Details:: Rab4 is a member of the Ras superfamily of small Rab GTPases implicated in endocytosis. Rab4 is localized at early endosomes/recycling endosomes and functions as a key regulator for sorting/recycling of membrane and proteins. Rab4 has two isoforms, Rab4A and Rab4B, both of which are localized in similar cellular compartments and are believed to have similar functions 4). Rab4 interacts with several Rab4 effectors in a complex on a special endosome site that promotes membrane/protein recycling. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
