Extra Details:: Psoriasin/HID-5 was originally identified as an up-regulated protein in psoriatic keratinocytes. Subsequently, this protein was found to have elevated expression in abnormally differentiating primary keratinocytes and in various carcinomas, including ductal carcinoma in situ. Psoriasin/HID-5 may play a role in the establishment or maintenance of these pathologies, and may serve as a diagnostic marker of particular tumor types or abnormally proliferative epithelia. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and paraffin): 5-20ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be detrmined by the researcher. Positive Controls: MCF-10A and MCF cell lystae Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
