Extra Details:: The Protein Kinase (PKC) gene family members are highly conserved kinases shown to be involved in signal transduction pathways that utilize membrane phospholipids to generate second messengers. The mammalian PKC enzyme family consists of at least ten members, a, bI, bII, g , d , e, x, h, q, and l isoforms coded for by nine genes. The isoforms show distinct tissue, cellular, and subcellular distributions with more than one isoform expressed in a cell type. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
