- Extra Details:
- A class of kinases that regulates an array of physiological processes and includes cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA), cGMP-dependent protein kinase, protein kinase C, Akt and RSK shares a substrate specificity characterized by arginine at position –3 relative to the phosphorylated Ser or Thr. These are referred to as Arg-directed kinases or AGC-family kinases. Phospho-(Ser/Thr) PKA Substrate Antibody provides a powerful new tool for investigating the regulation of phosphorylation by PKA and other Arg-directed kinases, as well as for high throughput kinase drug discovery. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000. Incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 1X TBS, 5% BSA, 0.1% Tween-20 for 4ºC with gentle shaking overnight. Immunoprecipitation: 1:100 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:50-1:200. Antigen retrieval: Heat in citrate buffer, pH 6.0. ELISA (Peptide): 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
