Extra Details:: Properdin is a factor of the alternative complement activation pathway. It has a molecular weight of 222000 and consists of four peptide chains. Properdin is stabilizing the C3 convertase C3bBb. The mean concentration in plasma is 20mg/ml. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISa and Immunoelectrophoresis. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Fluorescein/IgG protein molar ratio (F/P): ~1.3 Excitation: 492nm Emission: 515nm Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
