- Extra Details:
- PHB2 acts as a mediator of transcriptional repression by nuclear hormone receptors via recruitment of histone deacetylases. It functions as an estrogen receptor (ER)-selective coregulator that potentiates the inhibitory activities of antiestrogens and represses the activity of estrogens. It competes with NCOA1 for modulation of ER transcriptional activity and is probably involved in regulating mitochondrial respiration activity and in aging. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:50-1:100 Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
