Extra Details:: Transcription factor that binds preferentially to the recognition sequence which consists of two distinct half-sites, ('GCAT') and ('TAAT'), separated by a nonconserved spacer region of 0, 2, or 3 nucleotides. Positively regulates the genes under the control of corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and CRH II promoters. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:8000 Western Blot: 0.1-0.3ug/ml, human brain (cerebellum) and in mouse and rat brain lysates observed on ~48kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
