Extra Details:
PSD95 (postsynaptic density 95) represent a class of anchoring proteins which serve to localize various neuronal ion channels to post-synaptic densities. PSD95 and related proteins contain PDZ domains, which interact with NMDA receptors and voltage-gated K+ channels via a ET/SXV motif in the cytoplasmic carboxyl terminus of the receptor channels. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml detects PSD95 on 10ug of rat brain tissue lysate. Rat brain lysate was probed with N5380-25. Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-mouse and a chemiluminescence detection system. Immunohistochemistry: 1:500 detects PSD95 in rat cortex tissue. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Rat brain tissue lysate Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
