Extra Details:: Plasma phospholipid transfer protein (PLTP) plays a central role in regulating plasma HDL levels and distribution of HDL subpopulations. This regulation is evidenced in vivo by markedly reduced plasma HDL levels in PLTP gene knock-out mice. PLTP also facilitates free cholesterol influx into HDL. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, immunofluorescence/ Immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry. This antibody does not exhibit neutralizing activity. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500 Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry : 1:50-1:100 Immunohistochemistry (Frozen, Paraffin): 1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
