Synonyms: Phosphate acetyltransferase; acetyl-CoA:phosphate acetyltransferase EC Number: 2.3.1.8 Purity: Single band on SDS-gel electrophoresis (MW ~36,953) Single major band on isoelectric focusing (pI ~5.3) Reaction Equation: Acetyl-CoA + Pi = CoA + acetylphosphate Form: Ammonium sulfate suspension containing 0.5mg/mL lBSA, store at 4°C. Dlute in 100mM Tris.HCl buffer, pH 7.4 containing 1mg/ml BSA. Swirl to mix the enzyme suspension immediately prior to use. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
