Extra Details:: PCNA is found in the nucleus and is a cofactor of DNA polymerase delta. This protein acts as a homotrimer and helps increase the processivity of leading strand synthesis during DNA replication. In response to DNA damage, this protein is ubiquitinated and is involved in the RAD6-dependent DNA repair pathway. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence: 1:10-1:50 Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
