- Extra Details:
- The tumor suppressor WT1 represses and activates transcription. The loss and/or imbalance of the dual transcriptional activity of WT1 may contribute to Wilms’ tumor. Par-4 (for prostate apoptosis response) is a WT1-interacting protein that also functions as a transcriptional repressor. Par-4 contains a putative leucine zipper domain and is specifically upregulated during apoptosis of prostate cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
