MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000 p53 is a tumor suppressor gene expressed in a wide variety of tissue types and is involved in regulating cell growth, replication, and apoptosis. It binds to mdm2, SV40 T antigen and human papilloma virus E6 protein p53 senses DNA damage and possibly facilitating repair. Mutation involving p53 is found in a wide variety of malignant tumors, including breast, ovarian, bladder, colon, lung, and melanoma. MW. Of Antigen: 53kD Epitope: aa37-45 and aa20-25 Applications and Recommended Dilutions: Immunoprecipitation (Native and denatured) (Use Protein A; Ab at 2ug/mg protein lysate) Western Blotting (0.5-1.0ug/ml for 2hrs at RT) Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin) (Use Ab at 1-2ug/ml for 30 minute at RT) * [Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues is ENHANCED by boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.] The optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by the investigator. Positive Control: MDA-231, SKBR-3 cells or Colon carcinoma. Cellular Localization: Nuclear Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at-20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at-20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
