- MaxLight™ 490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Cyclins are important in regulating the cell cycle through their formation of enzymatic complexes with various cyclindependent kinases. The activity of the cyclin D-dependent kinases is controlled by inhibitors such as the INK4 family, which includes INK4a, INK4b, INK4c, and INK4d. The p19 protein, also known as INK4d was first identified in a yeast two-hybrid system screened for CDK4 binding proteins. Human p19 shares 86% identity at the amino acid level with murine p19, and is ~44% identical to each of the other human INK4 family members. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
