Osteopontin, also named early T lymphocyte activation protein 1, secreted phosphoprotein, and bone sialoprotein 1, is a secreted acidic phosphorylated glycoprotein originally isolated from bone matrix. It has been shown to bind to different cell types through interactions with various integrins and CD44 variants. It has important functions in bone metabolism and inflammatory processes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul to label 1x10e6 U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
