- Extra Details:
- Oncostatin M Receptor beta (OSM Rb) is a type I transmembrane protein that binds OSM with low affinity by itself and high affinity as an OSM Rb/gp130 heterodimer. OSM Rb is widely expressed and transduces signals involved in hematopoiesis, liver development, peripheral neuron repair and epithelial cell function. Mature human OSM Rb contains a 712aa extracellular domain (ECD) with one partial and one complete hematopoietin domain, an Ig-like domain and three fibronectin type-III domains, a 22aa transmembrane segment, and a 218aa cytoplasmic domain. Human OSM Rb ECD shares 55% aa sequence identity with mouse OSM Rb. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line. Knockout Validated: OSM R beta is specifically detected in HeLa human carcinoma parental cell line but is not detectable in OSM R beta knockout HeLa cell line. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
