Extra Details:: Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 5-10ug/ml on rat neuronal sections fixed with 3.5% paraformaldehyde. Incubation overnight at 4°C with a 1:100 - 1:500 dilution. ABC (peroxidase) detection. Positive staining of Purkinje cells and Layer 5 primary neurons. Western Blot: 1-10ug/ml with chemiluminescent detection. Higher concentrations of the antibody may be necessary if colorimetric detection is used. Antibody dilution will also vary with the concentration of antigen. Then antibody should recognize a 155kD protein. ELISA: 1ug/ml or lower on plates coated with 50-100ng of peptide antigen. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
