- NgCAM related Cell Adhesion Molecule (NrCAM), also known as Bravo, belongs to the L1 family of transmembrane cell adhesion molecules. NgCAM interacts homotypically as well as heterotypically with contactin, TAG-1/contactin-2, neurofascin, and receptor tyrosine phosphatase beta (RPTP beta). NgCAM is involved in axon growth and guidance in sensory neruons and commissural axons of chick spinal cord. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 2-8ug/ml Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml (Non-reducing conditions only). Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
