Extra Details:: A2B5 is a cell surface ganglioside epitope expressed in developing thymic epithelial cells, oligodendrocyte progenitors and neuroendocrine cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence (Indirect): 1:100-1:500 for the detection of neurons in tissue culture. Using double immunofluorescence the GQ ganglioside has a similar distribution on neurons to the D2 protein, to the tetanus toxin receptor and to neurofilaments Immunohistochemistry: Frozen, fixed tissues Immunocytochemistry: Confocal fluorescent analysis of PC12 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Type II astrocytes, human neural progenitors, PC12 cells Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
