Immunogen:: A 21 AA synthetic peptide within the putative, cytoplasmic, C-terminus of Human NPT2a (KLH). Species sequence homology: rat, mouse, rabbit-100%, sheep-86%, bovine-81% and opossum-71% NPT2a. No significant sequence homology is observed with NPT2b or other Pi-transporters (Type-I, III, or IV) transporters.
Format:: Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
Extra Details:: Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Western Blot, though not tested, may potentially be used as an application. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 using ECL. A band of 95-110kD has been detected in brush border membrane. ELISA: 1:10,000-50,000. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1ug/ml. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
