Extra Details:: ANPC is a receptor for atrial natriuretic peptide. It does not exhibit guanylate cyclase activity. There seem to be at least three ANP receptors: two with guanylate cyclase activity (ANPA and ANPB) and one (ANPC) which is probably responsible for the clearance of ANP from the circulation without a role in signal transduction. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:100-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (gelatin-embedded sections): 1:800 Immunocytochemistry: 1:800 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
