- The major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is a cluster of genes that are important in the immune response to infections. In rats, this complex is referred to as the RT1 region. In mice, this complex is referred to as the H-2 region. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100 Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:50-1:100. Antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin section is required. Sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 is recommended. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the NS1 mouse myeloma cell line.
