Extra Details:: Human MHC Class I (HLA-A, B & C) molecules are expressed on nearly all nucleated cells. MHC Class I molecules consist of heterodimers of a highly polymorphic transmembrane a chain and an invariant b chain. MHC Class I molecules bind to endogenously synthesized peptides of about 8-10 amino acids which are presented to CD8+ T cells. Recent evidence now indicates exogenously derived peptides are also presented by MHC Class I molecules. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, FLISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:50 (80ul/test) Antibody (whole molecule) is cytotoxic in the presence of complement. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Flourescein/IgG molar ratio: 7.4 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
