Extra Details:: The Melanoma Associated Antigen is a heterogeneous 25-110kD glycoprotein that is located mainly in the innerside of membranes of cytoplasmic vesicles in melanoma cells. The antigen has a 25kD unglycosylated precursor in formalin fixed and paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Not suitable for Western Blot or frozen sections. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:10-1:20 using the standard ABC technique. Incubate for 60 minutes at 25ºC. Not recommended for frozen sections. Expected Staining Pattern: Cytoplasmic and membrane. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Tonsil Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
