Extra Details:: MCP-1, also known as CCL2, is expressed by a range of cells including monocytes, vascular endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, osteoblasts and glomeruler mesangial cells. MCP-1 plays an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue macrophages. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Neutralization and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Neutralization: 0.5ug/ml inhibits 1nM recombinant human MCP-1. M1203-03A inhibits native human MCP-1. Western Blot: 0.1-1ug/ml detects 0.1ug/lane of human MCP-1 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. ELISA Matched Pair: Detection: M1203-03B Capture: M1203-03A Hybridoma: Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
