Extra Details:: Leucine-rich repeat FLI-I interacting protein 1 (LRRFIP1/FLAP-1) is a MyD88-interacting signal protein which mediates either induction or repression of TLR signaling. Flap-1 directly interacts with beta-catenin and activates beta-catenin-dependent transcription activity. Flap-1 or LRRFIP1 was also shown to bind the TNF- -308 promoter polymorphism site, suggesting its possible role in the regulation of TNF- production. FLAP-1 along with LRRFIP2 and FLIIH serve as a balance in coordinating inflammatory response after infection, and may act as a novel target in the control of agonist-induced TLR-mediated inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 2-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
