- Extra Details:
- The lymphocyte Peyer’s patch adhesion molecule (LPAM-1), also known as integrin alpha4beta7, is a member of the integrin family of cell surface receptors. It is expressed primarily on mucosal lymphocytes, but is also present on NK cells and eosinophils. The a4b7 heterodimer mediates the binding of lymphocytes to its ligand, mucosal vascular addressin (MAdCAM-1) on the high endothelial venules, thereby directing the homing of lymphocytes into Peyer’s patches and intestinal lamina propria.1-4 This antibody recognizes a conformational epitope on the heterodimer.1 2 Applications: • Flow cytometry 1-4 • Blockade of binding to cell adhesion molecules 1 • Induction of homotypic cellular aggregation 1 • Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections) 3 Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤ 0.1ug/10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
