- Extra Details:
- LSP1 is a 52kD leukocyte-specific protein expressed in B cells, T cells, macrophages and neutrophils (1). The protein binds F-actin through its carboxy-terminal actin-binding repeat and regulates cytoskeletal-related cellular movement such as polarization, chemotaxis and locomotion (2–4). LSP1 is a phospho-protein and has been identified as a major substrate of MAP kinase and PKC in lymphocytes and neutrophils (5–7). The phosphorylation is possibly related to its cytoskeletal regulation function. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in TBS, 5% BSA, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
