- Extra Details:
- Lck, a member of the Src family of protein tyrosine kinases, is essential for T-lymphocyte activation and differentiation (1,2). It is associated with a variety of cell surface receptors and plays a key role in T-cell antigen receptor linked signal transduction pathways. The activity of Lck is regulated by protein kinases and phosphatases. Phosphorylation of the C-terminal tyrosine 505 serves to downregulate Lck catalytic activity, while phosphorylation at tyrosine 394 leads to an increase in Lck activity (3,4). The protein tyrosine phosphatase SHP-1 has been shown to dephosphorylate Lck at tyrosine 394 (5). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
