- Extra Details:
- Lymphocyte-specific protein-tyrosine kinase (Lck), also known as p56Lck and Lsk, is a member of the Src family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases. First identified as a gene rearranged and overexpressed in murine lymphomas, lck behaves as a proto-oncogene and its activation can lead to cellular transformation. Lck protein is anchored to the plasma membrane and interacts with the intracellular domains of CD4/CD8 co-receptors in T lymphocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
