Extra Details:: Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:200 using ECL. Detects ~ 86kD band on mouse membranes; some smaller minor bands may also be present. Mature channels are glycosylated which can lead to smeary or slightly larger bands in certain preparations. It is important to use a full range of proteinase inhbitors to obtain full length protein blots. Immunohistochemistry: Rat brain sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
