Extra Details:
MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Neutralization, and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: FLISA (Indirect): 0.5-2ug/ml. Using 100ul/well antibody solution. When used in conjunction with the compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit is of 0.2-0.4ng/well. FLISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml. Using 100ul/well antibody solution. When used in conjunction with K1000A, as a detection antibody, the detection limit is of 0.2-0.4ng/well. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Immunohistochemistry: 0.5ug/ml, overnight at 4°C. This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of normal human skin. An HRP-labeled polymerdetection system was used with a non-alcohol soluble AEC chromogen and a proteinase K antigen retrieval. Neutralization: 0.56-0.85ug/ml, to yeild one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hKGF (25ng/ml). Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
