- Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Neutralization, and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA (Indirect): 0.5-2ug/ml. Using 100ul/well antibody solution. When used in conjunction with the compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit is of 0.2-0.4ng/well. ELISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml. Using 100ul/well antibody solution. When used in conjunction with K1000A, as a detection antibody, the detection limit is of 0.2-0.4ng/well. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Immunohistochemistry: 0.5ug/ml, overnight at 4°C. This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of normal human skin. An HRP-labeled polymerdetection system was used with a non-alcohol soluble AEC chromogen and a proteinase K antigen retrieval. Neutralization: 0.56-0.85ug/ml, to yeild one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hKGF (25ng/ml). Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
