Extra Details:: NTF97 is involved in nuclear protein import, either by associating itself with an adapter protein (for example, importin-alpha subunit which binds to nuclear localization signals (NLS) in cargo substrates), or by acting autonomously as a nuclear transport receptor. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:32,000 Western Blot: 0.03-0.1ug/ml, observed in lysates of cell lines Daudi, HEK293, and Jurkat on ~90-100kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
