- Extra Details:
- Kallikrein B1 (KLKB1) is a serine protease synthesized in the liver and circulated in the plasma by binding to high molecular weight (HMW) kininogen or as a free zymogen. It plays an important role in blood pressure regulation, fibrinolysis, and neutrophil activation. Mouse KLKB1 precursor contains a signal peptide (residues 1 to 19) and a pro form sequence (residues 20 to 638). Upon activation, the pro form is converted to a heavy chain and a light chain, which is linked by disulfide bonds and the latter contains the catalytic domain. The amino acid sequence of mouse KLKB1 is 90%, 77% and 76% identical to that of rat, canine and human. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml under non-reducing conditions only Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
