- Extra Details:
- Kallikrein 15, encoded by the KLK15 gene, is a member of the tissue Kallikrein family of Serine proteases. It is a secreted protein found in prostate, colon, thyroid tissues, breast milk and seminal plasma. Whether it has a trypsin-like activity or not remains controversial. Several splice forms exist. The 250 aa rhKLK15 has a 10-His tag at the C-terminus. It predicts a molecular mass of 28kD and migrates as a 39kD band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. The amino acid sequence of human KLK15 is 99%, 77% and 77% identical to that of chimpanzee, canine and mouse, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 5-15ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 25ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
