- Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Quality Control Testing Western Blot: 0.5ug/mL dilution detected phospho-IRS1 (Ser616) in RIPA lysates from TPA treated CHO cells transfected with human IRS1. TPA treated lysates from CHO cells transfected with human IRS11 were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with anti-phospho-IRS1 (Ser616) for 2 hours at room temperature. Proteins were visualized via HRP and chemiluminescent detection. Arrow indicates phospho-IRS1.
