Extra Details:: IL-10 is expressed by Ly-1 (B-1) B cells that express CD5 (Ly-1) and a subset of lectin stimulated T cells. IL-10 has a wide range of biological properties, including the inhibition of macrophage and T helper cell mediated cytokine synthesis, and the suppression of the delayed hypersensitivity response. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:100; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Membrane permeabilization is required. Western Blot: 1:1000 ELISA: 1:200-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: P3.X63 Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from immunized rats. Recommended Neagtive Control: I1904-76H: IgG1 Negative Control Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
