- Extra Details:
- CD129 serves as the high affinity alpha subunit of IL-9 receptor. It associates with CD132, the common gamma chain shared by receptors of many different cytokines. CD129 is expressed at low levels by T and B cells, blood cell progenitors, eosinophils, mast cells, epithelial cells, muscle cells and neurons. Its signaling (through JAK/STAT pathways) results in proliferative and anti-apoptotic response, which is critical e.g. for intrathymic T cell development and survival of various cell types. The gene for CD129 is located at the pseudoautosomal regions of X and Y chromosomes and it may be related with the development of asthma. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells of 100ul whole blood or 1x10e6 cells in suspension Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
