- Extra Details:
- Interleukin-7 (IL-7), is a potent lymphoid cell growth factor which affects Pre-B, Pro-B and early T cells. It will also affect mature T cells in combination with other factors such as IL-2. Human IL-7 is a 17.4kD protein containing 153aa residues. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (sandwich): 0.5-2.0ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with I8429-11D as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2- 0.4ng/well of recombinant Human IL-7. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant Human IL-7 is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
