Extra Details:: IGFL-3 (insulin-like growth factor-like 3) is one of four small (~11kD), probably secreted human IGFL family members. This family shares A and B chain cysteine motifs with the IGF superfamily, and has an additional cysteine motif within an uncleaved region corresponding to the C peptide of the IGF family. Mature IGFL-3 is a 101aa protein that shares 41% aa identity with the sole mouse IGFL. RT-PCR data indicates its expression within the cerebellum. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 2ug/ml Human heart tissue Immunohistochemistry: 8-25ug/ml using immersion fixed pafraffin-embedded sections of human brain, cerebellum Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
